About Us

Why and How we started? was born out of our desire to provide a place for all consumers where they could post their complaints, look for information, hold discussions regarding products,companies,etc. We also wanted to provide a platform where consumers and service providers could work together to solve the problems faced by consumers. We are aiming to become the first Consumer Social Network and the largest Consumer Encylopedia in the world. We started our website as a complaints forum, then we added a consumer information blog, a competitive exams information blog, a question and answer forum and we will be adding a new general discussion forum for consumers.


How and What we do ?

We are very serious about what we do.We do not make any compromises on quality and service issues.We have a dedicated team of professionals working round the clock to ensure a smooth and seamless experience to all our users.  We have a email ID verification and activation procedure for Posting Complaints and User Registration. When a user posts a complaint or registers on our site an activation link is sent to the email ID filled in by the user. This link is to be used by the user to activate the complaint or verify the user registration. We have an innovative feature in our 'Complaint Forum' wherein a complaint can be linked to a particular company and / or product, and our system will send a mail to the corresponding service provider. We also do follow ups if some complaint is not resolved. We even send reports of scams / illegal activities to concerned government authorities.


What we do not do?

We do not compromise with any one. We do not black mail any one. We do not take money for removing complaints, rather we do not remove complaints from our website. A complaint, the comments and status remain as reviews of the service provider against whom the complaint was posted. So, we do not advocate / allow removal of posted complaints even after resolution, instead we mark the complaint as resolved upon receiving an email from the registered email ID using which the complaint was activated. We do not tolerate spammming and trolls. We do not allow use of foul language or  pornographic images / material on our site. We do not moderate user posted complaints, only in rare cases when the user has linked wrong company, used foul language, or posted something which violates our terms of use do we moderate a complaint. We do not allow duplicate content. We do not delete complaints unless they violate our terms of use. We do not share user emails with anyone, except if some government body or listed company asks for the same to help in speedy complaint resolution.As a company policy we do not contact any one by phone, all our correspondence is done through our official emails [email protected] / [email protected] We do not ask any one to disclose information related to netbanking / credit card / debit card or any other such information which can be used for money transfers / online transaction.


Where are we headed?

We have completed our first stage of setting up a stable and user friendly website . We will keep upgrading our site and software and keep on adding information and features beneficial to our users and consumers in general. We will be opening our complaint forum for countries other than India. Our site will be country specific, i.e., users from country A will see country A specific information, users from country B will see Country B specific information and so on. All available countries will be listed on the top of the home page below the Header.For us to realize our aims we will require all the support we can get from consumers as well as service providers.
