I have handed over my Car Regn. No. RJ-14-CP-7148 alongwith other materials (as per attached packing list) packed in the car to your representative on 13-04-2015 from our Indian Oil Corporation Limited office at Malviya Nagar. The car was to be transported through car carrier from Jaipur to Bhubaneswar through car carrier of Agarwal Home Solution Packers & Movers. I have paid Rs.20, 720=00 through Cheque as per attached Bill no.1250 dtd. 13.4.2015.I was told that the car will reach at Bhubaneswar within 7-8 days time. Since the car was not reaching at Bhubaneswar I started asking your rep. at Jaipur Shri kishanji at his mob. No.9530024333 and I was told everytime that my cheque was not getting clear from the bank and the car has reached at Cuttack and can be delivered upon clearance of cheque. But I could find from netbanking that the said cheque was debited from my account on 21-04-2015. But the delivery of the car was not effected with the same plea of non clearance of cheque. Thereafter I conveyed them that I am proceeding on leave on 24-04-2015 night to Kolkata for 9 days. I got a call on 26-04-2015 at around 8 AM while staying at Kolkata from a person Mob. No.8874288774 claiming that he is the driver and brought my car in a carrier to Cuttack on that day i.e. 26-04-2015 and requested me to take delivery of the car from Cuttack.I told him that I was at Kolkata and the car was to be delivered at my office address at Bhubaneswar mentioned in the consignment note (attached Con. Note no. 1240 dated 13-04-2015) and I will take delivery at that address only, If required he can talk to his office also in this matter. He called me once again at around 12=35 PM that he wants to deliver the car at Bhubaneswar and requested me to make arrangement for taking delivery of the car that day so that he can go back for other trips. Since that day was Sunday and our office being closed and no person was available at office address I told him to come with the car at office address at Bhubaneswar on next day i.e. 27-04-2015 for giving delivery to my colleague. Subesequently I once again received missed call from same no. on 26-04-2015 at 3=45 PM. I called him back immediately and he stated that he has proceeded around 10 km. driving my car from Cuttack for Bhubaneswar which took me in total surprise and I told him that he should not have done this, once I have explained the situation and he in turn asked me what he should do then – whether to go back to Cuttack or proceed to Bhubaneswar for giving delivery of the car. I told him to hold on and let me check if I can find somebody to take delivery as the day being Sunday. Thereafter I called my colleague at Bhubaneswar and asked whether he can take delivery of the car that day at Bhubaneswar. He agreed and I communicated to the driver accordingly and sent him my colleagues cell no. and also sent the driver’s no to my colleague through SMS around 4 PM. It was confirmed by the driver and my colleague at around 5 PM that the car alongwith other materials reached to our Bhubaneswar Guest House. After return from Kolkata I checked the car and found in very dirty condition. Bidis, matchsticks, one sim of Airtel was lying in the dash board and one set of very dirty shirt and pant was lying under the backseat. Other things I have disposed except the Sim card. There was black spots on the bonnet and left side on the outside body. I have done servicing yesterday through authorised service dealer of Honda. They tried hard to remove the spots but could not as paint is coming out if scrapped. They told me repainting has to be done in the bonnet and side portion if black spots are to be scrapped which is having implication of about Rs.10, 000=00. Moreover the Km. reading shown after taking delivery at Bhubaneswar was 10071 Km. whereas the Km. Reading was 9339 (car condition document signed by your rep.) while handing over the vehicle at Jaipur. There is a difference of 732 Km. which was run during the transit from Jaipur to Bhubaneswar while it was in your possession. The above fact has given me ample doubt about the misuse of the car and loss due to damage as mentioned above. I have called several times to your representative Kishanji at Jaipur but could not get proper response. I have no other alternative but to lodge a strong complaint against your action during the process. The above fact is against the reputation of good transporters. I therefore strongly condemn your inactiveness and expect you to revert back to my satisfaction at the earliest. The above complaint was lodged on 07.05.2015 throgh email at but did not get any response. Abhijit Choudhury
